…Just sitting quietly. I must admit, it was nice, after yesterday’s bit of rain.
She was smiling to herself…
And what she was thinking about, she wouldn’t say…
Next thing I know, she was admiring some of the roses…
“Don’t these have a perfect scent?” she said. “Sweet but not too sweet.”
“Listen,” she said, looking up. “It’s the mockingbird – I think he’s on the chimney again…”
